A new (blog search engine) kid on the block

An interesting new blog search engine called Sphere just launched. I learned about it on TalkCrunch’s latest podcast. Specifically, check out their Sphere It! bookmarklet. This is going to be quite interesting. It looks like Technorati has a strong new competitor on its hands.

Gmaps Pedometer

you to map your walking/running/biking routes using Google Maps. Among other things it allow you to calculate calories.

MS is going to have a hard time competing against all of the fabulous open source tools available to web developers. I wish all of my clients would read this.
