Holy moly! Kathryn is 2 years and one day old, and she’s just started to ask ‘How?’ and ‘Why?’ This evening, just after supper time, she asked me “Daddy, why baby sleep?” I explained that her baby doll sleeps because she’s tired and needs her rest. She then asked me “How baby sleep?” I told Kathryn that baby doll lies down and closes her eyes and then falls asleep. The explosion in Kathryn’s vocabulary has been absolutely amazing to watch. We are truly afraid.
