We’ve just returned from another trip to see DJ’s family in southeastern Saskatchewan. This time DJ was able to make it, so it was a true family trip. We went to celebrate Ken’s (DJ’s oldest brother) 50th birthday. Happy birthday, old man!

This trip was easier in one way and harder in another than the previous trip. Easier in that I had DJ along to help care for “the Bits”, and harder in that my allergies really acted up the day before we left for home.

One thing that I noticed is that we really missed our bed. As much fun as it was to see everyone, it’s really nice to be home, sleeping in one’s own bed.
