DJ, Kathryn, and I are heading off to the Canmore Folk Festival this evening. It should be a fun weekend. I will however be without computing devices for the better part of three whole days! Shudder.

Here’s an adorable series of photos taken back on May 20th, 2004. Kathryn certainly is a ’smiley’ baby. At that time we often had to ‘tie her up’ in order to prevent her from scratching herself — she has eczema. Daddy’s sorry Pumpkin.[1]

Getting back to the backlog of Kathryn pictures…

Now, how that sign got there, I’ll never know.

I’m not sure what type of flower this is, but it is very purple. I took this photo this afternoon when I took Kathryn for a stoll.

Breaking with my current practice of working through the pictures of Kathryn - I’m about 3 months behind - I’m posting this photo which was taken today at 16:24, 6 month to the minute that Kathryn entered our lives. We are so lucky.

Kathryn had her first brunch at The Paliser Hotel on May 9th. Well, strictly speaking, she didn’t get any of the food until about six hours later.

“Hi Mommy.”

“Buuuuuurrrrrrrrpppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!”

Kathryn was three months old in these photos. In fact, the first four photos were taken on her three month ‘birthday’.
