Patti (left) and Jane, the midwives, are weighing Kathryn. She weighed in at a even 7.0 pounds. And yes, those are purple walls. “Jester” actually.

“Come any closer, and you’ll get a Karate chop from me!”
This beautiful shawl was hand made by Kathryn’s “Auntie” Isabelle.
“I am your Sun Goddess. Bow at my feet!”
Kathryn had a touch of jaundice her first 4 or 5 days. We managed to get a bit of sun-bathing in on a couple of days.
“Hey! Watch where you’re stickin’ those things! Yer ticklin’ me.”

“I’m just a yoga baby.”
“Doncha just wanna nibble on these toes?”
“Awwwww, ain’t I just sweet.”
“Oopsie! I made bubbles.”
“Whatcha mean I look funny?”
“Let me think about that problem, and I’ll get back to you.”
“Stop! Who goes there?”
“Ok, ok. I’ve stopped to smell the flowers. Want food now!”
These lovely flowers came from DJ’s co-workers and Allstream IT Services.
“When I grow up, I wanna be a geek, just like the old man!”
This was part of first visit to the outside world. DJ had a massage at Darlene’s, while Dad waited in her office. Dad was a little tired of reading, so he decided to have a bit of fun.
“See!?! Daddy told you he was tired.”
“Come on Big Boy! Bring those fingers just a bit closer. I’ll gnaw them off!”
“Hi Oma!”
As part of her 1st World Tour, Kathryn meets her Gramma.
“He could go… All… The… Way.”
Dad and Kathryn enjoy their first superbowl together.
“Hey dad! Give that defensive back the ol’ straight arm. He deserves it!”
“Rubber ducky, you’re the one.”
Dad and Kathryn have their first bath together.
“Hey dad! Watch out! The duckies seem to be getting bigger.
“Hey! This bath thing is kinda sweet.”
“Whatcha lookin’ at?”
“I’m just hangin’ out with Mom.”

Congratulations on little Kathryn’s birth! My favorite picture is the ‘yoga baby’ one - she looks so peaceful!

It took me a while to get here but… WOW! Congratulations to the whole family! She looks beautiful.. as does DJ in all the pictures with her. You all look wonderfully happy! I am so happy for you!
